Our New Family Activity
I will be done with this trimester in 5 weeks and I can't wait because I have been feeling very nauseated. I know I haven't been very good at writing posts, and that's mostly because I have not been feeling well. It's a good thing this isn't a job, because I would have been fired a LONG time ago! lol!
We have been very busy with our family. We found the best place nearby for hiking called Usery Mountain Park, we took the kids there and we all loved it! It's only $6.00 per car, and there are several trails to choose from, and scheduled hiking activities. The weather is just right and the wildflowers are all blooming like crazy, it's such a beautiful place. We took the Wind Cave Trail, and made it halfway to the top, but turned around because it was getting late and our 2 year-old K.T. started to get a little cranky. Our oldest daughter I.T. (who will be 6 years old in May) didn’t want to stop because she wanted to see the cave at the top, so she was a little sad. Our 1 year old son I.E.T. loved it, but was getting uncomfortable in the carrier, so we let him out when we were almost back to our car. Our 4-year-old daughter F.T. was glad to go back because she wanted to eat her snacks. So we headed back to the table area to eat some snacks because we were pretty hungry. We had a great day; a good sweat and we are planning another hike this weekend.

ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing! The scenery is beautiful and you can't beat the price! YOU ARE superwoman. Your little ones are so close in age and you manage to leave the house with ALL of them, let alone go hiking!. You have to be a really good mommy and organized to keep control and make it fun for everyone. I am in awe. I need to take lessons or tips! GREAT JOB!
