Drive-In Movies

Yesterday the girls had a fun Primary activity. The Primary leaders planned a kid’s drive-in and each of the kids decorated their cars and brought them to the chapel. When we got there they had a ticket stand. They were each given their tickets and drove in their cars on street (black and yellow taped lanes) had their tickets punched in and drove into the car wash (blue streamers hanging from the ceiling), they continued along the road to the cultural hall where the drive-in movie was set up. They parked their cars and took their tickets to buy popcorn, Capri sun drinks and candy bars. The movie they watched featured all their Primary friends individually sharing their special talents. The girls were a bit shy about seeing their talents on the big screen but afterwards they felt really proud.

Our oldest daughter "I" sang her favorite song, "Jesus Said Love Everyone"
and our younger daughter "S" sang "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". They kids were so cute on the video and they all had so much fun!

(I forgot to bring new batteries for our camera so I had to take pictures after
the party, but it was nice that the girls were still enjoying their cars when we got home.)
