3 weeks and 3 days left!

I am getting more anxious as each day passes; I can hardly wait to hold our new baby girl. I have been having those wonderful braxton hicks contractions and a bit of water retention more frequently so I try to rest a little more. I have definitely been nesting as well and de-cluttering, we have so much stuff that we don't need and I just want to throw everything in the recycle bin or the trash, I have a lot of bags of clothes to donate. We have a few more things we need to get for the new baby and we will be all set and ready for her. My two wonderful visiting teachers threw a baby shower for me last week; it was really sweet of them. They both live in the same community as us. I felt a bit awkward because it's our 5th child, but they really wanted to do it regardless because it's been a while since we had a little girl and they genuinely wanted to throw one for me. They are so sweet and so are the other women in our ward, it turned out really nice. Ana and Mary and baby Tali came, and I can't believe Mary drove that about an hour to get to my shower. She is so sweet! My sweet cousin Trish wanted to be there too but she was pretty busy with family stuff, I miss seeing her because we don't go to the Tongan ward anymore, but it's nice when we have some type of family gathering. We will be having one in the next few months for baby’s blessing so that will be really nice! I have two appointments scheduled for this week one ultrasound and a regular weekly appointment. We will soon find out when I will be delivering, it could be a bit earlier than we expected. So far baby is doing good, all of her vitals and movement is really great, just praying that she will continue growing, it sure feels like she has grown a lot. I will soon have to call my mom to come down and then my hubs parents will come down soon too. The kids are so looking forward to having time with their grandparents and holding the new baby. They have been wonderful in helping me do things around the house and I couldn't ask for better kids. They are young but they love to help and it's amazing the love they already have for the new baby. The connections they have spiritually with one another is evident when I see them care for one another and playing together.
I really cherish and adore the sweet and
pure love they show one another. It's definitely something the world needs more of.

So sweet of your VT's to do the shower. They're always helpful I think.
Hope the next couple weeks go quickly enough for you. Just try to squeeze in as much rest as you can though--you know you'll be wanting it those first couple weeks!

  12. I am so excited for you, and incredibly jealous! You are so blessed to have such a wonderful family, and you're definitely someone to admire.

I encounter so many people (in doing community service) who act like their children are such a burden...

Reading your site is so refreshing, and it helps affirm my faith in humanity.

    Thank you!
