Lil' Pearl is three!

Lil' Pearl lovin' her new dolly and stroller!

Our little "CNN" reporter, is 3 years old! She turned three this past week.  We had some cake on her actual birthday and got her a few small gifts and then celebrated with the family on Saturday.  She had so much fun celebrating.  She is still learning how to hold up three!  Her nickname CNN reporter is from my husband's parents.  Because of her talkative personality.  She can remember things and she loves to tattle on everyone about every.little.thing.   She is super attached to her daddy!  I love it that she is feisty even though she is very petite,  she can still fend for herself when her brothers are bugging her.  She is very much a girly-girl too!  She loves her newest toys a stroller and dolly and is just starting the "Barbie" stage.  Her favorite shows are The Cat in the Hat,  Dora,  Elmo and of course,  Yo Gabba Gabba!  She is so excited to attend the show when the Yo Gabba Gabba tour comes to our area next month.

Bebe Pearl not too happy about pushing that big baby around!
She's been such a cute big sister to her little brother.  It's funny to see her grow and learn new things each day.  She has such a cute and unique personality.  I love that she has her own little mindset.  Sometimes it bugs for instance,  when we are getting dressed to go somewhere.  She has to have on clothing that she picks out and she will get frustrated and whine if I choose certain outfits that she doesn't like to wear.  She does that with her shoes as well.  So you can definitely see that she is going to be one high maintenance wife to her future NOT like me.  She must get it from her daddy's side! lol!  She has quite an impressive vocabulary for being three years old.  The way that she talks about people and things is in detail.  She can remember events from the past or recall things easily.  She is a daddy's girl to the fullest and she is starting to be BFF's with all of her grandparents, especially her grandpa! She love to say her prayers,  and will often say the prayer when it's someone else's!

It's not a party without the Hawaiian Sun!

We had a simple and fun little party for her on Saturday,  which was focused mainly on the food. :)  The menu was Kalua Pork, Sweet and Smoky BBQ chicken, hamburgers, New Zealand Beef Sausages, Lamb Ribs, hot dogs, potato-crab salad, shrimp ceviche, dinner rolls,  rice, green salad, grilled Zucchini and peppers, veggie and fruit trays, Hawaiian sun drinks, pop and water....and of course cake and ice cream & treat bags for the kids.  It turned out pretty good.  Nearly all the food was gone or taken home by the guests.  The entertainment was done by the birthday girl and her sisters and her cousins sang and danced.  She enjoyed opening her gifts and having her own special Dora cake.  We certainly had fun celebrating her 3 years of life and of course we look forward to celebrating more birthdays for each of our kids.  We love you Lil' Pearl!  Thank you for always being a good example to us.  We are grateful for the joy you bring into our lives!!

♥Love and xoxoxo,
