Do You Believe in Angels?

My 94-year-old maternal Grandma W. is doing well after being operated on yesterday. She has not been well lately and was admitted to the hospital. She had to have various procedures and tests done and the result was that she had a tumor growth in her throat. The other day she went through surgery for a tracheotomy to help her breathe better. After she recovers she will undergo radiation therapy.

She and Grandpa have 17 children and more than hundreds of grandkids, g-grandkids and even g-g-grandkids. Grandpa passed away in 1997, and she has missed him so much but enjoys watching the family continue to grow.

She always has a smile on her face, and a sweet greeting for all who meet her, she is the greatest example of Christ I have ever known. She has dedicated her life to teaching others about Jesus Christ and an amazing testimony of His Life. She has been studying and contributing to Genealogy for decades.

I don't recall ever hearing her speak an unkind word. She loves to laugh and dance, and one of her favorite things to do is to teach her grandchildren songs, and the teachings of the Gospel. I truly admire her and hope that I can become like her someday. We were fortunate to spend time with her during the Holidays and she was in pain at the time but she still tried to get up from her bed to give us hugs and kisses (although we all asked her to relax.)
If you believe in angels she is an angel on earth.

Our dear sweet grandmother our prayers are always with you! Get well soon! WE LOVE YOU!

  1. wow Ane. What a sweet post about Grandma! I guess all the doctors were expecting her to go right there on the table but she pulled out of it miraculously! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Oh and P.S. I added a couple pictures of Pete and Seini so you can see. And thanks for being such a dedicated comment giver on my site-ha, one of the only comment givers!
