Our Daughter's Thoughtful Prayer

The other night it was Pearly Shella's turn to say the bedtime prayer and she started it out as usual, her prayers are always very thoughtful and very sweet. She got to the part where she was asking for blessings for everyone and saying each persons name and when she finally got to her little brother K Pearl she said,
"Please Bless K Pearl so that he doesn't pee in the bed anymore."

It was really cute and funny but I think it has actually helped him.
Prayers are answered even if it might seem like something silly to pray for.

  3. kids have it right! two of my brothers (i won't spill which two) used to go on and on for literally 20 minutes blessing the windows, the house, the grass, the garage... i always thought it was good for them to know they could ask for any blessings they thought they needed! but it was also cute and funny. and who knows what blessings really came from those little toddler/child prayers?!

  7. The day after we had a car stolen from our front yard, Our young son prayed we would find it.

I was worried, because of how slim the chances were to find it....

A couple of hrs. later the police called. They found our car.The people were ready to leave the state..I couldn't believe the faith in that childs prayer..

  8. That is so cute and sweet! I love children's prayers, they are so innocent and sincere. I'm sure Heavenly Father delights in them as well :). My guys tend to go on tangents but I can't help but smile at what they come up with. One of my favorites is when my son said in his prayer, "we all love Jesus, everyone loves Jesus, the whole world loves Jesus, and we all want to be like Jesus."
