Aloha Friday

If you’d like to participate, leave a comment below and post your own question on your blog Don’t forget to link up on An Island Life and visit the other participants on An Island Life!

My question for you today is:

If you could change one thing about the way the world is today
what would you want to change?

(Please resist the urge to answer with a beauty pageant-like
answer, i.e.; "World Peace."! )

  1. seriously...i would want our leaders of our countries to get along :)

i would want food & gas prices to go down!!!!!!

  2. I would like people to care more about the world we leave behind for our children and their children.

  3. I would want the world to be safer for our kids.

  4. I would like for the sex offenders to be locked up for life, not get out to do it again and again. I would also like a better judicial system. Where one is TRULY innocent until proven guilty. It just seems to me that the innocent people are found guilty before being proven innocent and the guilty ones get away!

  5. If I could change one thing in the world it would be how politics ruins so many things in our daily lives. Whether on the job, at school, in our place of worship. . . politics of one type of another is always there.

  6. Tena: I really agree, it seems like people are getting a bit more aware of this, so that's a good thing

Sage and savvy: I know it seems like even when I was little I could play outside by myself and my parents didn't have to worry like I do for my own kids.

amyg: Justice, just isn't justice anymore, there is too much corruption in the gov. it's so annoying.

theangelforever: Loved your answer! I don't really notice in the little things but I also agree with ya!

  7. Wow, there are so many messed up things in our world. That's a tough question. I guess I'll have to agree with everyone elses answers. Sorry, very unoriginal.

I checked out your Polynesian Kitchen Blog; my mouth started to water. Everything looks so ono!

  8. Oh, this is cool! I checked out An Island life and it looks fun. What to change in the world....hmmm...

I think I want the world to be less materialistic so we don't have to work so hard to accumulate things and be tempted to keep up with the Joneses.

Does that sound pageantry? Cuz I'm kind of serious about it :-)

  9. i would have the entire world christian based in their beliefs and true believers.

  10. FAMILIES would be at the forefront of all the issues. There would be no single parent homes, no orphans, just more protection of the family unit.

  11. One thing??? goodness... To bring God back into our lives!! For the truth to be told instead of all the lies..

and yes I agree gas prices to go down lol

  12. If 100 people a month would not slam the door, but would instead open their hearts and minds and let those missionaries at least talk to them a few minutes.

  13. I would turn all forms of hatred into love!

  14. I would go with a standard "magic spell" on all politicians. They would all compulsively be totally 100% honest in all they say and do.

  15. OK ~ you asked us not to give you a beauty pageant answer, so here goes...

I would make a law that all pants/shorts/skirts must always cover underwear and what the underwear covers!!!

    Fun question!
    Have a blessed week!

Thanks for Showin' some love!
