A Scavenger Hunt

This past weekend was too cute! My husband was taking the kids to Grandma & Grandpa's store to visit and to buy some snacks. Our 7-year old Pearlie said she didn't want to go and insisted on staying home with mom, which is unusual because she loves to go to her grandparent’s store. Once daddy and the younger kids had left, Pearlie begged me to go to my room for a surprise. She left a note on our bed that said:

Clue #1-Open okay, on the inside it gave me the hint for the next clue, and she had hidden several of them in different areas around the house. The last clue was Clue #4, which was the final part of the scavenger hunt, the treasure! She had written a cute note that said, "Surprise!! Mom, I love you so much! You're the best!"

I love it that she used her creativity and thought of a fun way to show her love.

I am so blessed and loved, and I am grateful for the "sweet" reminders that my kids and husband give me, especially the simple ones! They are absolutely the best!
