Mission Almost Accomplished!

A week ago we bought him his first big kid undies, daddy picked out super heroes of course! The next day we put them on and he loved them! So finally he will be a little more motivated to go to the potty. A long week went by with many accidents along the way, and still putting diapers on him when we are not at home. At bedtime he does really well, and every time he goes to the potty or if he has an accident I ask him where he is supposed to go potty and he says in the toilet.

Today, he is finally recognizing when he needs to go and he runs to the potty! I think we need to celebrate with some Ice Cream and brownies! I will have to call my husband to make a stop at the store and get some rewards for him and us!! Hooray!

It's been a long month and finally we are almost completely done.
I have learned to follow my instincts and not to push him to potty train, it takes lots of patience and perseverance and I am so excited. 3 down and one more to go! Maybe I will start potty training my 8 month old now! lol!! ---NOT!!!
