Local news article: Psychic reader nailed in Mesa

I found a funny news article on azcentral.com, and thought you all might enjoy a bit of laughter for your Wednesday afternoon.

Southeast Valley Insider offers a look at the lighter side of news and politics in the Southeast Valley.



A Mesa neighborhood activist spotted a "psychic reader" operating out of a west Mesa apartment and called the city's Code Compliance office, which verified that it's against city code to operate a business in a residential neighborhood.

Code compliance officer Liz Cassavaugh went to the apartment complex to check it out.

When the psychic reader opened the door, Cassavaugh deadpanned, "You didn't know I was coming, did you."
