What was your favorite song when you were a child?
My favorite song was "Crush on You" by The Jets. My cousins and I would pretend we were the singers, I always pretended I was Kathy. They were like the Cheetah Girls in the 80's. They also happen to be my first cousins and are still one of my favorite bands.
Here is a throwback video of them singing this song.
Oh I had a ton of favorites. The one that comes to mind though is 'Do You Believe In Magic' by Shaun Cassidy.
ReplyDeleteFavorite song as a child? I can't remember that far back...but I do remember listening to Strawberry Shortcake music.
ReplyDeleteThe Jets! I saw them at the MN state fair when I was a kid . . . and of course they sang that song Crush On You :-) I think I still have the autographed program somewhere...
ReplyDeleteMy fav song as a kid? Sadly, anything by Weird Al ;-)
When I was young I listened to the soundtrack from the movie "Oliver!"
ReplyDeleteI knew all the lyrics and I would act them out for everyone.
Watching that video was fun! I loved that song too. Also Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam. Yum.
