Silent Scripture Sunday
2 Nephi 9:39
O, my beloved brethren, remember the awfulness in transgressing against that Holy God, and also the awfulness of yielding to the enticings of that cunning one. Remember, to be carnally-minded is death, and to be spiritually minded is life eternal.
(When I was a teenager my sister showed me this scripture and it has always been something I remember. She also showed me that at the end of this scripture to help me remember this scripture, all I have to do is S.M.I.L.E. -Spiritually Minded Is Life Eternal. It was a small teaching moment from my older sister, but to this day it has been a huge influence. Thank you sis! Love you!)
