Almost 30 weeks!
It has been a while since I have written an updated post about my pregnancy. This little girl has been moving often throughout the day. I have been feeling really good and I try to rest as much as I can. The doctors are concerned about her growth, she is in the smaller percentile for her size and gestational age, but our oldest daughter was tiny when she was born and many of my relatives on my mom's side are very petite, so I am not feeling too worried about her. I am trying not to stress out too much. I have faith that she is fine and I feel that everything will be okay. Her heartbeat, and the blood flow to her are great, she is very active and my appetite is great too. They just want to monitor her growth monthly by ultrasound to be on the safe side. I have never had any issues with any of our other kids before or after birth. I will just continue to pray and have faith that she will be blessed with what ever she needs.
I am usually a light sleeper and it's kind of funny because now when my husband tries to wake me up I am asleep like a log! A few months ago we made a countdown chart with chains, an idea that I got from the blog of my neighbor and friend from church, she made hers for her sister coming to town. I loved her idea so I used it for our kids to help them understand how much closer the days are to the new baby being born. They loved making it and each of them drew a picture for the baby, so we posted their drawings up all around it. We are down to two chains and our family is getting very anxious to see her, hold her, hug her and kiss her.

how sweet! Love the visual for the kiddos to follow along. Keep growing that baby healthy and strong. My boys never made it to 30 weeks. I delivered when they were 24 weeks.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really neat idea, the chain

What a cute idea. That's a fantastic way for them to get a feel for how long is left. I wish I'd done something like that. Oh well. The pictures are cute. So sweet. Keep up the good work!

How cute that they are counting down to baby's birth. I blogged about "countdown boxes" on my blog, but I love your chain idea. Best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy...be sure to get plenty of rest and don't worry about a thing!
