Home School Ideas: Reusable Activity Books
One of my favorite ways to help prepare my little ones for school and to encourage the kids in school is using little notebooks and worksheets to practice concepts. It's been a while since I have worked on certain things with the youngest kids and I thought I'd share some of my favorite ways to keep the kids learning that is both inexpensive and convenient.
I love things that are cheap and nearly free! The Dollar Tree has some great activity books of course they are only $1.00.
Here is one of my favorites you can do with stuff you might have at home:

- Reusable Coloring Pages
ages 3-6
Supplies
Coloring book pages, dry erase markers, sponge or wet cloth, lamination sheets
Activity Detail
Select a few pages from a coloring book. Laminate the pages or use Clear Snap-In Sheet Protectors (you can have them laminated for you at a local office supply store or you can purchase laminate sheets that don't require heat from your local drug store). Allow your child to use dry erase markers to color the pictures. Then, when they are through, you can rinse the page off in the sink or wipe it down with a wet sponge. The pages can be reused many times. I try to choose pages that don't necessarily go together (they have different themes) and then my son and I try to make up a story that weaves all the subjects together.Links I love:
